The District Engineer or his or her designee is hereby authorized to acquire interests in real property in the name of the District, where necessary or convenient for the construction, maintenance and/or operation of the District’s sewerage system at a cost not to exceed twenty-five thousand dollars, upon determination that such actions are in the best interests of the District.
