Any person who discharges wastewater into a public sewer through a building drain or building sewer shall be responsible for the maintenance, repair and proper operation of the building drain and building sewer, regardless of whether the building sewer is located on the customer’s property or within the public right-of-way. The District shall have no responsibility or obligation for the maintenance, repair or proper operation of a building drain or building sewer. (Ord. 72 §1, 1991; Ord. 3 §3.4, 1973)
